Discovering the history of Kodaikanal and KIS
Students went on a field trip to the Archives and KMU to meet with Ms. Suvidha- Head librarian and Archivist. She informed students about the early settlers of Kodaikanal and also about the history of KIS. Students went on a gallery walk to view pictures of KIS's history and they also viewed some artefacts that were stored in the archives. They learned briefly about how and why documents are stored in the repositories.
All About Explorers - Scavenger Hunt
Students researched about an explorer and created an scavenger hunt. Other groups playing the game had to solve the clues and gather information about the explorer as the moved from one destination to the other.
