How We Express Ourselves - Cultures can inspire and influence the different arts.

Tuning-In  to the central idea and formulating their 'ask' question.

Students first discussed and wrote down what they already knew about the arts in their 'KWL'. Then they viewed exhibits on different arts and filled in visible thinking mats ' I See, I Think, I Wonder...' on dance, drama, music and visual arts. The session ended with students discussing their wondering question and then they formulated their 'Ask ' question for the inquiry cycle.
